how i spent my winter break.

my mom loooves thomas kinkade (i know i know. she doesn’t get it) and has been asking me to paint her something to decorate her new apartment with. this is the result. even though i hate him, i now have a newfound respect for his art. cus daayyuuummnn, that ninja can paint!

everyone who knows me know i love flowers and beauty and special streams of sunlight peering through the clouds a la the lion king. but after 3 weeks of that and realizing i was doing a completely half-assed version of mr. kinkade’s made me realize that fool loves flowers and such heck of a lot more than i do. so cheers thomas. to your unending patience and love for flowers.

but i guess it was all just a dream.

(okay i hate it when movies do this, but give me a break! the semester was winding down and i needed a painting to finish. so sue me.)

and so with the help of her friends, alice escapes the circus, ruins the house of cards finale, and sets all of the mistreated animals free!

howdy!

so at this point in my story, alice is realizing that circus life ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. she wants to go home but the queen/ringmaster is holding on to her cash cow like it’s the last mcRib EVER. this is their mother dearest relationship at its best.

sooo remember that time i had a tumblr and kept forgetting to update it? yeaaahhh. good times. here’s what i worked on for my final last semester. i reckon i’ll get back to you once more after midterms, and then again in the summer…a lot like how i see my friends in real life. yay!

i cry…

This is a promotional piece I did for a student film called Resistance. It’s about the don’t ask don’t tell policy in the armed forces. It’s a very dramatic and touching story of a young man searching for truth and finding love in a time of war and extreme prejudice. Salina Conlan of the CSULB Film Department did a great job writing and directing this movie.

I don’t think I’m done with this one yet. But can you blame me for quitting early? I friggin hate clowns.
